What The Papers Say - FM of Scotland Working With English Government To Broker Climate Management Agreement - News

The FM of Scotland, Nicola  Sturgeon, said a  deal on climate management needed to be agreed after scientists claimed there would be severe weather conditions affecting the US, Europe and China . Asked whether the First Minister of Scotland would use the opportunity to reassert Scotland's statehood, the First Minister said her focus was not on the Scottish State but on securing a deal on climate management.  The Scottish administration is the co-chair for the Under2 Coalition and is working with the English government to maximise England's influence.  Prime Minister of England, Boris Johnson, said he was not confident in prospects of key goals being met at COP26. Statements from blocs of countries ahead of the talks said there were questions over who would take responsibility for the management and the financial burden that would be incurred.  India and China said developed countries should do more to attain net zero targets while c ountries most at risk from climate change wan

What The Papers Say - Scotland Backed Into Referendum Corner - News

Senior Scottish Government minister claims Scotland is backed into a referendum corner by the FM of Scotland. Western Isles minister, Angus MacNeil MP, said that the Scottish parliament had as much authority to hold a vote on dissolving the treaty of 1707 as the Western Isles council had of voting on the 1266 Treaty of Perth to rejoin Norway. Last week Scottish government minister and parliamentary leader, Ian Blackford MP, defended the Scottish government's policy to hold a referendum. When asked about the publication of their policies for a Scottish state he said he didn't know when a white paper would be published and had yet to meet members of his party to discuss a campaign strategy. Scottish government minister, Mr MacNeil MP, has campaigned for an alternative route to Scotland's full statehood stating that a referendum would be blocked by the English government regardless of which political party was in Scotland and has claimed that the English government did not wan

What The Papers Say - English Government's Budget Leaves Scotland Short-Changed - News

English Government Chancellor, Rishi Sunak MP, short changes Scotland in his budget announcement.  English Government Chancellor, Rushi Sunak, announced cheaper sparkling wine and draught beer and a policy change to social security payments in his budget announcement stating that the Barnett Formula affecting Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland would reflect the policy changes. " This delivers the largest block grant for the devolved Scottish administration since the devolution settlement of 1998," he said. He then went on to say that the English government would  fund the extreme E race and the 22 Hebrides X-Prix in Scotland. English government total departmental spending will rise by £150bn by 2024-25. Mr Sunak said that for many of the lowest paid in society there is a tax on work and that Universal Credit withdraws support as people work more hours. The rate is currently 63%. So for every £1 someone earns their Universal Credit is reduced by 63p. It is a tax on work at a

DELEGATES to the   SNP's   online conference next month will seek a seamless trade between England and Scotland upon Scotland reasserting its statehood, however a Scottish referendum to reinstate Scotland's full statehood will not be discussed. First Minister of Scotland and SNP leader, Nicola Sturgeon, has said she will not pursue a referendum until covid has passed. What The Papers Say - Number of Troops in Scotland May Be Reduced Further - NEWS

English Government Defence Minister, Ben Wallace MP,  fails to rule out cutting a further 1700 military personnel based in Scotland amid the reduction in military bases. The English Government minister dismissed press reports last week on the basis he had not received defence chiefs’ final recommendations. However, he did not deny the substance of a news article which claimed commanders want to speed up plans to shut Fort George in the Highlands, and the Glencorse and Redford barracks in Edinburgh. It was announced in 2016 that Fort George would close as an active barracks by 2032, but  fears are that the shutdown could be much sooner. The former RAF Kinloss base in Moray was closed in 2011 and transformed into an army barracks. In late 2019, the English government minister, a former Scots Guards officer and north-east MSP, indicated the decision to close Fort George could happen. On a visit to Aberdeenshire and Moray, he said the future of the base may be influenced by a commitment to

What The Papers Say - Russia Has An Interest In Scotland's Independence Debate - News

RUSSIAN interest in the Scottish independence   debate online claims English Government's Defence Secretary Ben Wallace who refused to comment further. English Government MP, Ben Wallace, claims that Russia has an interest in magnifying division in national debates including in Scotland and said  that Russian president Vladimir Putin would not respect Scotland more if it removed the Trident nuclear submarines post-independence. During a briefing with journalists, the English government MP was probed on the Russian state’s interest in the debate around the Scottish constitution.  Asked if there was any evidence of Russian interference in the current Scottish independence debate online, Mr Wallace said: “I think what we’ve seen is Russia and other nations take an interest to magnify division in national debates around Europe  including Scotland.  I can’t talk about the here and now but there is an interest and more than that.” Last year the English Government's Intelligence and S

Height of Irresponsibility – Yet Another Scottish Political Party Bought for the Queen's Shilling - Kit Klarenberg

McDonald and many of his SNP Government MP/MSP colleagues are openly hostile to the movement they purport to represent. When support for Scottish independence rises they publicly argue against holding a second referendum claiming to do so before the Scottish Government had “renewed its case” for seceding from Great Britain would be “the height of irresponsibility”. Adding insult to injury McDonald, himself, launched an extraordinarily vicious broadside against Scottish independence supporters on social media – accusing them of being “creepy” and “vile”, “spreading poison and cynicism”, and behaving like “obnoxious thugs”. Reporting on his comments, English Conservative Government MSP Adam Tomkins, in a Glasgow Herald article heartily endorsed McDonald’s stance. McDonald, Scottish Government MP, for Glasgow South is the most enthusiastic Russia-basher within the Parliament of Great Britain. His anti-Russia campaigning is quite remarkable. Until 2018, he showed little or no interest in t

What the papers say - Cop26

Preparations are intensifying as Glasgow prepares to host up to 30,000 people for the UN climate change conference. With more than 120 world leaders attending the event, which takes place at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) from 31st October to 12th November, r oad users can expect disruptions as many routes around the venue will be closed for up to three weeks.  Transport Scotland said that “severe congestion” is expected on certain days due to a combination of road closures, security measures for the delegates and likely protests. The impact of the conference is also expected to be felt outside the city, with the transport network in Glasgow and the Central Belt predicted to be extremely busy. The RMT union has confirmed that ScotRail workers will continue to strike from November 1-12 amid a dispute over pay and conditions. Security operations in Glasgow throughout the conference will include approximately 10,000 police officers from all parts of GB on a daily basis. Firearms officers

Through The Eyes Of The English Establishment - The Treaty of Union

The Scots complain A LOT. How dare the English establishment mock our representatives they cry. Only they don't say English. Oh no, that would be to admit the truth that they try so hard to hide from themselves. What they say instead is Westminster and UK. It is the UK Government. The UK Supreme Court, UK law, "unwritten" constitution of UK, reserved to Westminster and yet they will call it an English parliament with a majority of English MPs. They even refer to parliamentary sovereignty and rules of parliament. Neither of which are applicable to the state parliament as they were from the English parliament prior to its abolition. So how do the English establishment see it? Let's look through their eyes. Ever since the Scottish civil wars of the 17th and 18th centuries the Scottish government has sought help from their treaty partner in curbing the unruly Scots and bringing them to heel. So much so that English garrisons were set up all over Scotland and all things S

An Inconvenient Truth - Treaty of Union 1707

What do you do when it is publicly pointed out that there is no Government of Great Britain, no constitution of Great Britain and no parliamentary sovereignty among the myriad other features that are missing from the treaty of 1707? When it is publicly pointed out that the current set up is mere convention and that CONVENTION IS NOT LAW? You quietly go about changing that situation. You rename yourself, publicly, you then set about ensuring that others refer to you by your new name giving you credence. The next step is to change the legal situation. EVEL was brought in to give legitimacy to the English government acting and legislating from within the parliament of Great Britain, in essence treating the parliament as English. Clause 38 had English parliamentary sovereignty written into it. The ability for "UK" government to ratify treaties was written into law. Note that the English government had Crawford and Boyle pen a paper stating that England was UK. To quote them &quo

Has the Treaty of Union 1707 been replaced?

Image
As you know I have pointed out for quite some time that the English Act of Union Bill (2017-2019) was being enacted in all but name. Now it has replaced the original English Act of Union! During indyref the English establishment promoted the paper they commissioned Crawford and Boyle to pen stating that Scotland was extinguished and subsumed into a Greater England albeit under the new name of "UK". They then on 19 September 2014 drew up EVEL and had that enacted creating, in breach of the treaty, in essence an English parliament within the parliament of GB. Then they sought an exit from the EU. During that time though they drew up the English Act of Union (2017-2019) Bill. Facing opposition they let it sit and instead tried to write into law English parliamentary sovereignty via Clause 38. The building blocks were being put in place - the parliament and sovereignty. They then changed how Scots are identified internationally along with the name of the state by

In What Way Is Scotland Subjugated?

This is a question I am often asked. The automatic response is, in which way isn't Scotland subjugated? But that makes the assumption that folk know what subjugation is. So what is subjugation? To Subjugate: to bring under control and governance as a  subject   :  CONQUER to make submissive  :  SUBDUE So which does Scotland fall under?  Well, it was never conquered. Garrisons were set up across Scotland in order to stop the Scottish civil wars at the bequest of the Scottish government and it had then as it does now its version of the Ross's, Davidson's, Blair's and Brown's. Scots who sought to endear themselves to their English counterparts by treating Scotland with utter disdain. Greed, corruption and a desire for power whether imagined or otherwise were their companions even to the detriment of the Scots who would have, given the chance, given them the Wallace treatment.  The Scots then, as now, were not subjects. They were not below the monarch. They granted lim
